DIGIT is Ireland’s largest games developer, home to a talented team of over 70 people from all over the world and the creators of free-to-play MMO mobile strategy games. Our first game, Kings of the Realm, became a top grossing game in over 50 countries. Our latest project Star Trek Fleet Command, launched globally in November 2018 and is redefining strategy gaming on mobile. DIGIT became part of Scopely in May 2019.

We are looking for an eager Associate Producer to join the production team on Star Trek™ Fleet Command in Dublin, Ireland. The person in this position will join an experienced team of producers dedicated to facilitating teams to deliver the best for our players by creating and improving communication channels, celebrating successes, and always making sure we understand how and where our teams can improve how they work for the benefit of themselves and the players of Star Trek™ Fleet Command

You will be embedded in one of our feature pods to deliver a wide variety of updates and features for Star Trek™ Fleet Command, taking them from concept to delivery. You will be part of a cross functional development team consisting of multiple disciplines and have the opportunity to facilitate the delivery of complex projects. We work on exciting products and games and you will have the opportunity to make a massive impact on our players experiences by ensuring you team have everything they need to be successful.

Here's what you will be doing

  • Be heavily involved in facilitating pre-production, production and delivery within your team
  • Drive and refine the production practices of Digit within your team
  • Create and maintain status reports on team performance
  • Communicate the teams status and needs to the wider studio
  • Schedule and organise various meetings for capturing, prioritisation and breaking topics down into stories
  • Facilitate all agile meetings and ceremonies for the team
  • Establish and drive processes to improve efficiency and communication within the teams, and also to the rest of the studio
  • Synchronise the data across various systems such as JIRA and Excel sheets
  • Maintain project status and progress on a story level as well as on theme and initiative levels
  • Create and maintain reports that show various roadmaps, status & progress of initiatives, ETAs, key technical risks organised into topic clusters etc.
  • Integrate bug reports from the QA team into your reports to provide transparency on quality for various areas of feature development

To do this job, you will need

  • 1+ years of production experience in development teams
  • Solid understanding of Agile and it’s standard practices
  • Experience working with JIRA
  • Naturally be a very structured and well organised person
  • Excellent communication and people interaction skills
  • Enjoy working with people and teams
  • Willing to spend a lot of time in the details of how games are delivered
  • To think in a structured and systematic way
  • Have a service attitude
  • To be a gamer and passionate about games
