Our first game, Kings of the Realm, became a top grossing game in over 50 countries. Our latest project Star Trek™ Fleet Command, launched globally in November 2018 and is redefining strategy gaming on mobile.

We are looking for a driven Producer to join our Star Trek™ Fleet Command team in Dublin, Ireland. The person in this position will join an experienced team of producers dedicated to facilitating teams to deliver the best for our players by creating and improving communication channels, celebrating successes, and always making sure we understand how and where our teams can improve how they work for the benefit of themselves and the players of Star Trek™ Fleet Command. The Live Producer will be the member of the team closest to the release team and the live game, keeping abreast of the heartbeat of the game and the community.

Reporting to the Executive Producer, you will work with our live team and the release team to make sure we are always addressing adapting to the players immediate needs and emerging trends. You will be involved in the whole development process, from concept to delivery, focusing on rapid turnaround on live needs. You will also have the opportunity to work with the other feature teams, ensuring the major features for a release are going through the release process successfully from localisation, to QA, to deployment. We work on exciting products and games and you will have the opportunity to facilitate a direct impact on the players day to day experience.

Here's what you will be doing

  • Be heavily involved in live monitoring, production, triage, and release planning
  • Work with the live team to facilitate the responsive development of features and updates based on live player needs
  • Work with the release team to ensure updates are localised, tested and released successfully
  • Drive the creation and maintenance of status reports on team performance
  • Facilitate requirement gathering and backlog management within the team, partnering with community management, customer service and the product team
  • Schedule and organise various meetings for capturing, prioritisation and breaking topics down into stories
  • Establish and drive processes to improve efficiency and communication within the teams, and also to the rest of the studio
  • Review together with the team and the key ‘internal customers’ the usability and efficiency of features during development to facilitate iterative improvement and feedback. Don’t settle for anything that is not best-in-class
  • Synchronise the data across various systems such as JIRA and Excel sheets
  • Maintain project status and progress on a story level as well as on theme and initiative levels
  • Integrate bug reports from the QA team into your reports to provide transparency on quality for various areas of feature development

To do this job, you will need

  • 3+ years of production experience in development teams
  • Experience on a live title, preferably in a position close to player feedback
  • Direct experience with the release process and upkeep of live titles
  • Solid understanding of Agile and it’s standard practices
  • Experience working with JIRA
  • Naturally be a very structured and well organised person
  • Clear ability to assess priority of multiple issues rapidly to focus response accordingly
  • To have a demonstrated ability to facilitate cross team discussion and organisation
  • To have excellent discipline
  • Excellent communication and people interaction skills
  • Excellent ability to visualise data and convey information clearly and succinctly
  • Can combine and review multiple sources of information to discern patterns or needs
  • Enjoy working with people and teams
  • Willing to spend a lot of time in the details of how games are delivered
  • To think in a structured and systematic way
  • Have a service attitude
  • To be a gamer and passionate about games

While not mandatory, below are some nice to have’s

  • Worked in large scale agile teams
  • Worked on large live service games
  • Experience with the release process of live mobile titles
  • Direct involvement in localisation of content on a live service
  • Certification as Scrum Master
